Cape Love...

A/W 2010 by Nadinoo I want that blue cape!

Hunted...

Last night I went to the Singapore book signing of Yvan Rodic's Face Hunter at the soft launch of new store, A Curious Teepee .  Yvan was really lovely and made time to chat to everyone - he signed my book and we had a good chat about Vietnam and Australia.  I told him he should visit Brisbane next time he is in Oz (even though he said he had been told by others not to!)   If you don't already have a copy, pick up the book and also read the Face Hunter blog for lots of style inspiration.  Also check out A Curious Teepee, next time you are in Singapore...  It's a cute little store filled with funky local designs and just lots of cool quirky things.  It also has a cafe attached serving great coffee from Papa Palheta .

Ride a bike...

Empty Jars...

I love jars. I insist on keeping all our empty jars which takes up space in the kitchen and annoys the Mr :) I also love red velvet cupcakes and insisted on having them at our wedding... Now how about combining the two.  Seriously, who wouldn't love a red velvet cupcake in a jar? Make your own for a sweet Xmas treat... via Becoming Lola

Scrabble Love...

want! <3! Maybe one for the Christmas list?

Matte...

Whilst in Perth we happened on the Outre Gallery in Northbridge. The frugal in me means that I am not usually one to impulsively buy big items but I couldn't keep my eyes off the prints by Matte Stephens . We ended up buying a framed print of New Orleans at Night (first pic below). I have however since discovered Matte's etsy store and am tempted by so many more..! Just delightful!

Satchel love...

Sometimes you see something and you just fall in love... Buttery soft leather, exposed buttons...swoon... All bags by a.b.k

Collective love...

Whilst honeymooning in Perth, the Mr and I spent some time in a cool little bookstore in Northbridge. He picked up some wine books and I picked up this little gem, Collected .  It is a beautiful little book containing recipes collected by Kristin Hove from the special people in her life.  Some wonderful food photography and simple easy to follow recipes.  I am hanging out to make the arancini balls, leek pie and carrot cake!

Jump on your dick van dyke...

We have just arrived home from our amazing 3 week wedding and honeymoon extravaganza.   Best.time.ever! But happy to be home (although perhaps not happy about going back to work on Monday) and keen to follow the above advice and get Byron and Betsy on the road again after a long hiatus for the both of them! Cycle inspiration courtesy of the The London Transport Museum illustration competition.
