It was bound to happen with all this flying and Qantas strikes again for the second time within the past year by making sure my luggage went awol. This time, they sent it to Melbourne instead of Brisbane!

Hopefully it arrives in time for my flight in the morning to Townsville...if not I have packed a bag of borrowed clothes from YT just in case and fortunately I bought a pretty dress from Shieke before I left Sydney so I can wear that to the Magnetic Island wedding on Saturday!

It's not such a big deal for me and I just feel sorry for the poor baggage services people.  Tonight at the airport, they were getting ripped into by a guy who was just being so rude and unnecessarily so.  Dude, yelling will not help to get your bag home any quicker!  My guy was lovely and he apologised to me and I said "Don't worry, it's not your fault" and he smiled - not sure he hears that very often... my bit of good karma for the day :)

Miss Anne...

I have been a fan of hers since the Princess Diaries and now she is starring in the film remake of one of my fave books, One Day (I definitely recommend the book!).  I am a bit skeptical after seeing the trailer, but perhaps she will prove me wrong?

inner peace...

Some busy and full on days this week which reminded me that we should always try and seek 'inner peace' - this little life lesson particularly resonated with me after re-watching Kung Fu Panda 2 earlier this week on the plane.

Sometimes there are just things we can't help or control so we just need to be at peace with them to be able to move on and harness that energy in a positive way rather than letting it frustrate us!  All quite zen for a Thursday evening... :)
