a beautiful ending...

Nora Ephron  passed away earlier this week - which made me think of this lovely ending from one of her wonderful films "When Harry Met Sally"....   I love that you get cold when it's seventy one degrees out, I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich, I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts, I love that after I spend a day with you I can still smell your perfume on my clothes and I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Years Eve. I came here tonight because when you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of the life to start as soon as possible.

The little one..

Well it seems that there is a little baby girl on her way - very exciting! I am also super excited to receive these delightfully cute presents that have been lovingly knitted especially for the bub by a lovely lady who Cath donated some wool too.   I can't wait for the little one to come out so I can show her!

divine..

Falling in love with this divine Elie Saab jumpsuit that Emma Stone wore last night at the Spiderman London premiere.   So beautiful.   I alway love a good jumpsuit even though they are never the most practical - going to the bathroom will be tricky in this, no?  :)

seeing spots...

Miranda Kerr always looks so good and so effortless.  She was spotted in New York last week in the simplest of outfits -  a sheer spotted blouse, well cut and well fitted navy tailored pants, cats eye sunnies and nude heels.  I LOVE this look. So I went hunting for some other navy polka dot inspiration... I think this needs to be added to my list of wardrobe essentials....   All images via my Pinterest

In love..

I am officially in. love. besotted. smitten. Just came back from a lovely week at home and got to meet my new little cutie patootie nephew.  Babies really do lift your spirits and make you happy - so good for the soul.   I can now understand why people are always posting pictures of their kids on facebook etc, just so darn cute!  Source: mo-on-child.tumblr.com via Phuong on Pinterest I could not resist posting this pic of this little baby giraffe.  I love giraffes. so cute!!
