2am...

Mr in bed, the little Miss fed and finally sleeping and me with a cup of hot milo catching up on my pinning ...This morning's pinning inspiration - gorgeous gift wrapped packages.  Hopefully it will inspire me for this Xmas... speaking of Xmas, it may be time soon to put up the tree! (I can't believe it is almost December already - cray cray). I love the contrasting stripes and polka dots  Aqua and Red - I love this colour theme   Can never go wrong with brown paper and lace doilies.    I love doilies - does that make me a bit of a nanna? :)   All images  via Phuong on Pinterest

via Phuong on Pinterest 7/11/12 - the day our little one arrived. I am absolutely besotted with her and she is the most incredible little thing.  I have always wanted kids but I never realised how blown away I would be by her and I still can't believe I am a mum.  It feels weird! :) I always knew that my Mum and  Mum-in-Law  are incredibly strong and amazing women but I have such a newfound respect for them both now.  It's such a gift being a mama bear xx

DINK time... post #3

We are still counting down to the little one's arrival so we are continuing to take advantage of the DINK time (see previous posts here and here ) and checking out a few new places... Lucha Loca A laid back, buzzy new Mexican Taqueria at Duxton Hill which opened a few weeks ago serving up Mexican street food.  Lots of choice including awesome tortilla chips, yummy tacos, quesadillas, ceviche (which I really want to go back and try once I can eat raw food again) etc.  It's hard to find good Mexican so tasty food along with great service, a cool and buzzy atmosphere and (I am told) yummy margaritas - you really can't go wrong! Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar We stopped by here yesterday for breakfast and we're glad we did.  An artisan bakery, the smell of beautiful hot bread greets you when you open the door and enter the airy space.  It wasn't too busy when we were there so quick friendly service and a wide selection of brunch choices.  Coffee not the be
