Diane Kruger front row at Chanel

Further to my quest for flat shoes , my lovely friend Jac sent me some style inspiration - Diane Kruger front row at the latest Chanel haute couture show.  She can definitely pull off flats and makes them look damn good!  I like the studded flats and her drop waist dress.  Very chic and she and the fella make such a good looking couple.  Pacey 4 eva :)

I miss my heels!

One of the adjustments I have had to make since being pregnant is giving up my 4.5inch heels and settling into a routine of wearing flats... I know some girls love them but I personally have always been a heels girl.  Aside from my trusty havaianas and a pair of pointy green fishskin flats that I bought in Hong Kong years ago (which I love and will be so sad when they are so trashed I can't wear them anymore), I haven't really embraced the flat shoe. Honestly though, I haven't totally given up my heels yet (much to the dismay of some of my very sweet and concerned office colleagues) and have downgraded to a 1 or 2 inch heel on some days.  However most of the time I am currently traipsing around in flats.  The problem is I am short and I already get mistaken for being about 17 (I know I know it will be a total blessing in later years!).  Hence I am trying to stay away from flats that may be too cutesy which will make me...

Shoes and more shoes...

Further to my earlier post on shoes, I spied some great shoe storage ideas this afternoon c/o one of my fave blogs, This is Glamorous .  At home, all my shoes are currently stored in an old  bookcase from IKEA but I am running out of room so need to come up with something else soon or god forbid buy no more shoes!  :) My fave is the last pic. Digging the lamp too...! All images via This is Glamorous

Shoe love...

Discovered Shoerazzi the other day - a site that gives you a rundown of everything shoes. Whilst I probably will never own a pair of Louboutins or Nicholas Kirkwoods, the site is perfect for some shoe inspiration... and procrastination...  Below are some of my favourites that I picked out during my browse this morning... Shoe Bubble - Oxford landing

I have previously made my love for Anthropologie known - can't wait to get there when I visit NYC in a few months! I think I will pick up some of these pretty little gems...

Shoe Bubble - Oxford love

Over the weekend I was outlet shopping and tried on an amazing pair of Giuseppe Zanotti black patent lace up oxford booties (unfortunately I can't find a pic of them to show you). Even on sale (and like 60% off) these gorgeous shoes are still way out of my budget. I guess I will have to be content to look at these pretty pictures of oxford booties until I can hunt down a cheaper pair... All from Bluefly

Shoe Bubble - Charles & Keith

I just got back from another lovely weekend in Singapore with the boy and participated in one of Singapore's greatest traditions - shopping! Orchard Road is the place to get all your wares in Singapore and a new shopping centre ( ION Orchard ) opened a few weeks ago that I was keen to check out. ION is 8 levels - 4 underground and 4 aboveground and is made up of a whole range of stores from high end to high street as well as a top notch food court. I purchased some lovely gold gladiators (perfect for my upcoming trip back home to Oz) from Charles & Keith , a great Singaporean (and very affordable) shoe store. Mine were a bargain at S$27 which is currently about AUD$23. I can't find a photo of my new shoes but here are some other snaps from their summer range...
